Lyle's Story
Graduated 1969, went into US Army 1970 and to Vietnam in July 70 to July 71. Married Cathy Bones in June 74 and we had one son Michael in 76. Cathy was killed in auto crash along with my sister Jean Allen at X-mas 78. I got married again in June 84 to Beb Bach who was teaching in Parker. We had a son David in 87 and both boys went to Parker school all their lifes. Mike works for us here on the ranch and David works for Garrnet Co which owns the Argus Leader. Turner County for 19 years.. I have slowed up abit but will keep working as lomg as the boys need to keep us olf guys around. Steve, Jim and Walter Bones and myself make up Hexad Farms which farms all the land and owns the cattle out here and now Dan & Matt Bones and Mike have started MDM Farms. We will turn it all over to them over the years just like Walt did for us. Grew up on the east side of the fairgrounds in Parker and now live on the west side so I guess you might say I never made it too far from home. Been an interesting life and I'd only change a few things if I could do it over.
